From May 19 to May 30, 2025, selected river sections will be closed to public fishing due to the 44th FIPS-Mouche World Fly Fishing Championship.
All restricted areas are clearly marked with signs like the one shown in the photo.
Specific stretches under fishing restrictions are listed in enclosed table.
WHO CAN AND CAN’T FISH – AND WHERE?
Recreational anglers (everyone not participating in the championship) are not allowed to fish in the listed protected sections during the specified period.
Championship participants and their agents are not allowed to train in the competition sectors – they may only practice in non-competition zones.
On the other hand, non-competition sectors remain open to the public, even during the championship days.
Thank you for your understanding and for respecting the rules. You’re helping us provide a fair and safe environment for everyone!
