Ladies and Masters 2023 – sector change

Important Update for 2023 Masters and Ladies World Fly FIshing Championships:
Please note that Roche Lake has been removed as a competition sector for the Masters and Ladies World Fly Fishing Championships, due to a total winter-kill at Roche Lake, and has been officially replaced with Sullivan Lake.
Knouff Lake Resort, which is situated on the northern shore of Sullivan Lake, has been selected as the host resort and will be providing 12 boats and motors for both world championships.
Sullivan Lake will be divided into two sectors, with the Masters competing with electric motors on the northern half of Sullivan Lake, and the Ladies competing with gas motors on the southern half of Sullivan Lake.
Sullivan Lake is approximately 2.0 kilometres in length and 103 ha. (254 ac.) in size. It is a productive fishery with a healthy population of wild, rainbow trout and an abundance of insect life.
Thank you for your understanding and a sincere thank you to Knouff Lake Resort for graciously agreeing to serve as the host for this venue and providing the necessary boats and motors for this venue.
